The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes promote and encourage education beyond high school for Tribal members. The Higher Education Scholarship Program is administered by the Tribal Education Department's (TED) Scholarship Officer, Miranda Burland.
Any CSKT member interested in attending an accredited college, university or vocational school will need to submit a Higher Education Scholarship application along with all required documents. The application becomes available in January, of every year, and the deadline for the 2020-2021 will be Friday, May 1, 2020. Read through the Student Policy Handbook to know and understand how the Higher Education Scholarship program works, the application process and what is expected to continue receiving this scholarship throughout the year and every year you apply. Students must apply for this scholarship every year.
The deadline for the 2019-2020 Higher Education Scholarship application has passed and late applications are no longer being accepted for this year.
