The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) promote and encourage education beyond high school for Tribal members. The Higher Education Scholarship program is available to any CSKT enrolled member who wishes to pursue an undergraduate or graduate level degree at an accredited educational institution in the United States. Scholarship applications are available each year and if you are considering or have thought about college, you are encouraged to apply. Applications become accessible in January, each year, and the deadline is May 1st. Students must read through the Student Policy Handbook to understand how the Higher Education Scholarship program works, the application process and what is expected to continue receiving funding throughout the year and each year students must apply.

The 2024-2025 Higher Education Scholarships are now available.
The deadline to submit your application is Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Applications are also available in the Tribal Education Department. Contact the Scholarship Officer for questions or clarification with the application or Policy Handbook.
If you are interested in a Trade or Training School, you may be eligible for the Tribal License Plate Scholarship or the Sean Mesteth Memorial Scholarship. Contact the Scholarship Officer for more information.
