The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT) promote and encourage education beyond high school for Tribal members. The Higher Education Scholarship program is available to any CSKT enrolled member who wished to pursue an undergraduate or graduate level degree in an accredited educational institution in the United States. Scholarship applications are available each year and if you are considering or have thought about college, you are encouraged to apply. Applications become accessible in January, each year, and the deadline is May 1st. Students must read through the Student Policy Handbook to understand how the Higher Education Scholarship program works, the application process and what is expected to continue receiving funding throughout the year and each year they apply.

This year's Higher Education Scholarship application will be available in a few different options for you. We have the the on-line version, PDF and Word formats This year's deadline is set for May 3rd to get your applications submitted. No Higher Education scholarships will be accepted after October 31st. 

If you are interested in a Trade or Training School, you may be eligible for the Tribal License Plate Scholarship. This scholarship assists with the cost of registration or tuition for entry into a program. Contact the Scholarship Officer for more information.
